Ventilation creates an optimum indoor climate in your home. The system removes polluted air, eliminating hazardous substances and mould in the blink of an eye. If you'd like to maximise the potential of your ventilation system, there are a number of important issues to bear in mind. Of course, you must choose a top quality system, but the positioning of your ventilation and its maintenance are also important focus areas. We will explain how you can get the best performance from your ventilation.
Professional installation of your ventilation system is always vital. Installing ventilation involves much more than just deciding on its position. The installer will dimension and set up the entire system accurately. To do so, he must calculate the flow required for each room in order to fulfil EPB legislation. With Vasco ventilation, you can be sure that the installation runs according to plan. We will always provide a comprehensive installation and set up plan for the installer so that he knows exactly what to do.
Once your ventilation is set up, the system will be thrown out of kilter if you adjust the set up valves yourself. So never undo these components; always call in a professional installer. The ceiling valves can be cleaned without adjusting the system set-up. To this end, Vasco has developed a ceiling valve which clicks easily onto the set up valves and which can be easily screwed off.
Maintain your ventilation system at the scheduled frequency to ensure optimum effectiveness and super-quiet functioning. Clean and check the filters once every three months. Dust can be removed easily with a small brush head on your vacuum cleaner. Don't forget to replace the filters twice a year. This stops air-borne bacteria in its tracks.
