Does the temperature in your smallest room drop down to freezing point at night and during winter? Definitely not the most pleasant experience when you just climbed out of a nice and warm bed … However, there is a very simple solution: have a toilet radiator fitted that is perfectly geared to the size of your lavatory, and you will never face another freezing posterior again!
An ice cold toilet seat is not exactly the kind of thing any of us relish during those chilly winter months. The lavatory could do with having its own heating when the outside temperature falls. You do not need 23 degrees, but most people would agree that a minimum of 19 or 20 degrees feels a lot more comfortable than 15 or 16 °C … But which kind of radiator will fit in your lavatory? Obviously, every toilet is different, but in most cases a small vertical radiator or a corner radiator will do the trick. Find a spot where your radiator is not in the way, but will complement your lavatory.
It is not just the model but the heat output too that is a deciding factor in the purchase of any toilet radiator. For starters, you will need to calculate how much heat you will need, which is not likely to be very much in the lavatory. Next, it is time to seek out a radiator that serves your purposes and generates exactly enough heat to heat the room without breaking into a sweat each time you need to spend a penny!
Finally, you will be guided by the aesthetic of the toilet radiators available. Yes, for the lavatory too, there is a choice of designer radiators that will seamlessly blend in. Tip: dark and elaborate models make the lavatory look smaller, where a white designer radiator will optically enlarge the space. The design too plays a part in this respect: a simple model with a mat coat is certain to bring tranquillity and elegance.
