It goes without saying that you are looking to heat your home in a way that is healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient. To do so, for your impending purchase you seek the assistance of professionals, who will advise you whether to go for underfloor heating, designer radiators and/or electric radiators. In some cases, they will recommend hybrid radiators. Read on to find out the benefits of these radiators and how they are best used.
A hybrid radiator does the exact same thing as a ‘regular’ radiator. It is connected to the central heating system, so it will comfortably heat the space with the efficient energy supplied by a condensing boiler, heat pump or solar boiler. However, if necessary, a hybrid radiator will allow you to give the place a quick shot of extra heat with electricity. Hence the name ‘hybrid’.
Electrical heating appliances are not as energy-efficient as heating your home with central heating. So why would you opt for hybrid radiators? The answer is simple: hybrid radiators can be very useful to have, especially in rooms you want to be able to heat quickly, such as the bathroom. If you want to raise the temperature in the bathroom just before you step inside the shower so it is nice and warm by the time you come out, than an electric or hybrid radiator is the perfect solution. Electric heating quickly produces radiation heat, ideal by way of temporary back-up heating.
Please note: electric heating only works if the central heating is switched off.
Regardless of the reasons you are having hybrid radiators fitted, you do not want to detract from your judiciously decked out home interior. The good news is, you will not. Same as all designer radiators in the range, Vasco’s hybrid radiators are stylish additions to any home interior. They will enhance the ensemble and, if you decide on a bright radiator colour, act as unique statement pieces.
