The recent extension to the Lycée Jean Rondeau, in the Sarthe region, is not your average school extension project!
The Lycée Rondeau is a school dedicated to heavy goods vehicle sector education, also covering related sectors such as driving, engineering, logistics, goods handling etc.
To ensure that it could fulfil its remit most effectively, a new HQE® and BBC-compliant site extension was required along with a complete upgrade of the existing structure (workshops, classrooms, library, creation of a new multipurpose hall, etc.). The multipurpose hall has a 120-seat telescopic seating stand, stage area, sound equipment, etc. To complete the final touches to this project, the Le Mans-based heating firm Missenard chose Vasco to supply 50 Viola radiators.
