Control your electric heating with wifi

Control your electric heating with wifi

When it comes to home automation, we often think of lighting that you can control by clapping your hands, or a coffee machine that can be controlled via an app. But, did you know that heating installations can also be part of your home automation system? Discover the latest electric radiators with E-Volve wifi controls from Vasco. Easy to control your radiator from a distance and handy for saving money on your heating bill!

Set the temperature at home via wifi, with the Vasco app

The new E-Volve Wifi allows you to control your electric radiators using your wifi network at home. The E-Volve is a compact module that uses bluetooth to communicate with a small temperature sensor that is placed in the same room as the radiator. To ensure an accurate temperature measurement, you should avoid placing the sensor near doors or windows. Did you know that the Climate Control app from Vasco can also operate your ventilation units and underfloor heating? It’s never been so easy to control your interior climate!

Easy and environmentally-friendly

Using E-Volve wifi to control your electric heaters allows you to set the temperatures in your home wherever you are, and to set each room individually. And we really mean ‘wherever you are’ as you can do so from the comfort of your armchair or even while you're snoozing in bed, enjoying a lie-in. Carefully controlling the temperatures in your house is also efficient in terms of expense and energy; you can easily avoid heating rooms that are not being used. E-Volve Wifi will soon be available for the electric bathroom radiators IrisAgaveAsterCarré BadZana BadViola and Niva. Keep a close eye on the Vasco website!

Tips for saving energy

E-Volve, of course, is not the only way to save money. Did you know that you could save 7% on your energy bill by setting your thermostat just one degree lower? Make sure that the thermostat has been set up properly and is located in the right place. In other words: not too close to windows or doors and not too close to heat sources. A thermostat tap on your radiators can also help to save energy. If your room is warm enough, the radiator will stop heating. Good ventilation of your home is also very important. Dry air is easier to heat than damp air. Open doors and windows for half an hour a day and you will quickly notice the difference! Finally: close your roller blinds and curtains once the sun goes down. This protects your interior climate from the cold that radiates through windows. Yes, even through double-glazing! Good luck with saving money!
