Low-temperature radiators: efficient and sustainable heating

Nowadays, properly insulating your home is no luxury and even encouraged by the government. As a result, our homes’ thermal and acoustic comfort levels have increased enormously in just a few years’ time. As heating at high temperatures is no longer necessary, more and more people are enjoying a pleasant indoor climate thanks to low-temperature heating.

But won’t it be cold around the house if I install low temperature radiators?

Heating at a low temperature doesn’t mean you’ll be less comfortable – provided your house is sufficiently insulated, that is. Low-temperature radiators are particularly suitable for new-build homes or houses that have been completely refurbished. If that’s the case for you, your home will warm up nicely if the flow temperature of the central heating water lies somewhere between 40°C and 55°C. Traditional heating systems, by comparison, require a flow temperature of 70°C to 80°C to achieve the same effect.

What radiators are suitable for low temperature heating?

If you want to equip your home with a low-temperature heating system, it is especially important that the front plates of your panel radiators are large enough to optimally distribute the heat. All Vasco radiators are available in large sizes and therefore meet this condition, giving you plenty of choice from our various collections. From the sleek FlatLine models to the refined Carré radiators or the elegant Tulipa Collection: we make sure you can heat your home at low temperatures in style.

What are the benefits of LT radiators?

Using your Vasco radiators for low-temperature heating means you get to enjoy multiple advantages:

  • You use up to 30% less energy and will therefore significantly lower your energy bill.
  • You’re heating your home in an eco-friendly manner.
