In a ventilation system C, fresh air is drawn in through grilles in windows or walls, in the so-called "dry rooms" (living rooms and bedrooms). The used indoor air is extracted mechanically via a central exhaust box in the so-called "wet rooms" (such as bathroom, toilet, laundry room and kitchen).
