Cool down during a hot summer with a ventilo fan-coil unit

Summers seem to be getting hotter and hotter and it’s not always pleasant. You can't cool down your home, find it hard to sleep, and feel lethargic on hot days. However, there is a great solution which rapidly reduces the temperature in your home: a ventilo fan-coil unit. With this system, you can create a pleasant internal climate in the blink of an eye.

The cooling effect of a ventilo fan-coil unit

A ventilo-fan-coil unit is a heat-exchanger with lamellas and an integrated ventilator which can blow hot or cool air into your home. The system can be connected to a central heating boiler but is also very useful when combined with a heat pump as this heats and cools in an environmentally-friendly way.

A heat pump with ventilo fan-coil unit

A heat pump is the energy source of the future. This type of pump is incredibly sustainable. Combine your heat pump with a ventilo fan-coil unit and enjoy the amazing cooling effect. The purchase of your heat pump and fan-coil will soon pay dividends as you will use them all year round.

Active and passive cooling

The standard ventilo fan-coil unit is fitted with a cooling function thanks to its inbuilt cooling element. You can choose from two types of cooling:

  • Active cooling: The heat-exchanger is supplied with water at a temperature of between 7°C and 12°C. The air is then dehumidified and this helps to create a comfortable environment in the summer months. The water that is released from this dehumidification process must be drained outdoors or via a dirty water drainage system.
  •  Passive cooling: The heat-exchanger is supplied with water between 17°C and 20°C. The air is not dehumidified and the cooling capacity is limited.
