How to warm up your loft? With underfloor heating, of course!

Do you dream of a modern loft, but do the heating costs scare you? No worries, you can warm up the open spaces without breaking the bank. Underfloor heating is the ultimate solution for lofts (which typically have high ceilings). Are you already living in a loft, with plans to renovate it? Then you can still install underfloor heating by opting for a dry system.

Underfloor heating for your loft: the Vasco dry system

Arguably the biggest advantage of installing underfloor heating in a loft is that it is both an economic and ecological solution. With a dry system you can rest assured your home reaches the perfect temperature straightaway, as the heating pipes are not laid in the cement floor but in the insulation plate. The system therefore has an incredibly fast response time. Moreover, a dry system is perfect for renovation projects because it requires less height than other systems.

Combine it with Vasco designer radiators

Some rooms require some extra warmth on top of what’s provided by underfloor heating. For example, most people combine underfloor heating in the bathroom with an extra radiator. Doing so does not take up much space and can even be an asset to the interior. Take Oni, for instance, one of Vasco’s designer radiators. The ultra-thin aluminum front panel makes it the perfectly match for lofts with an industrial look. Tip: opt for Jet Black or Anthracite Grey for an even bolder effect.

Electric radiators, too, are an excellent supplement to your underfloor heating. The E-Volve Collection of bathroom radiators in particular is incredibly energy-efficient and makes your loft look even more alluring. What’s more, they always come in handy for drying your towels.

Don’t forget to have a look at the new Veronica column radiators, too. Unsurpassed in their level of detail, they offer contemporary comfort combined with a retro look.
